The home is located on a sloping lot overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The boat house garage is located at the top of the lot has a wooden woven carport off the one side. The floor is Mexican red Terracotta tile as is the stairway entry to the front door, the entire house upstairs, and the front porch off the living room. The front porch is 12' deep with views of the entire Sea of Cortez and all the spectacular sunsets and the sunrises. The upper floor has smooth plastered walls with the creamy yellow color in the finish coat of plaster, it is not painted. The beautiful granite kitchen offers a "U-shaped workable area with designer cabinets. Lots of uppers and lowers and two banks of drawers. Appliances are stainless including dish washer, range, and refrigerator with bottom freezer. Two 5' windows bring in lots of light with the sea view. All the cabinets and main doors are made from Perota with beautiful grains and medium finish. The back-entry room has Perota cabinets with tons of storage including two banks of drawers, a large deep cabinet, and a single oversized stone granite sink with window above. The kitchen and entry room both have trash located under sink and out of view. The house is plumbed with copper and has a 100 amp service. A Generac 8kw Generator is located near the banana plantation downstairs. Numerous receptacles and switches were strategically placed. From the living area a door closes off the master bedroom/bath area. To the right is the bedroom and to the left is the bathroom. Two narrow windows bring in the cool air either side of the bed and two 5' windows that view the sea. The bedroom is oversized so a desk could be placed under the windows. There is even enough room for a free-standing large armoire. A short distance from the bedroom takes you to the oversized bathroom. It has a beautiful granite sink top that sits atop more Perota wood cabinets. There are 2 banks of drawers and a door unit under the opaque sink that is lighted from below. The light allows the bathroom to be just right for making nighttime travel easy without night lights. The walk-in shower has a glass block window and a large bench seat and corner shelving. Off the bath is a large closet with shelving for folded clothes above and shoes below. There are upper and lower clothes hanging, hamper for white and dark wash, and a higher metal hook unit with shelf above. Incredibly organized. The bedroom has its own a/c unit as does the living room. There are 3 one of a kind wall light fixtures for subtle lighting. One in the alcove to the bedroom, one over the tv area and one over the king size bed in the bedroom. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms, and two in the living area. Special hidden lighting on the ocean viewing porch sets off the beam structure that supports the roof. Roofing is Spanish tile that was installed with a rustic touch to emphasize the Mexican flavor of this house. Lots of architectural detail was paid to the exterior lines of the house creating spectacular garden areas and a home that stands out among all others. The exterior wall lights are handmade and at night all the lighting shows off the exterior in exquisite fashion. Downstairs is accessed down tile stairs or through the middle gate at the road. This is the guest level. It has a Murphy queen size bed a full bathroom with a window, and large tile shower. It has cedar cabinets beneath the sink and concrete topped counters with tons of storage. Includes a microwave, toaster, coffee machine, pots/pans, silverware, etc. Even a U-line ice maker is built-in that is perfect for packing your cooler with fish. The room has three windows with pull up shades as does the bathroom. Off the bathroom is a mechanical room which houses the electric panel, metal shelving on the entire wall and an on-demand hot water heater that heats the water for the entire home. There is another concrete covered carport off the side of the lower level. The living area has 4 overhead ceiling fans, the bath and mechanical room have one each. An a/c unit cools the entire living area. There is an overhead 10' wide garage door with a wood looking metal door that faces the center road gate. This allows for any future needs with storing another vehicle, trailer, or whatever. The exterior has large palm trees and is totally irrigated.
