50 Cresta del Mar, Casa Sabila, Cabo Corridor,
Description
Supplements: Casa Sabila Highlights Lot - Developer of Cresta built & lived here - backyard was built up with boulders and dirt to be much higher than side lots & rear lot. All 3 sides drop off sharply to provide privacy all around. House Painting - Victor Hugo Nafarrate & brother Fernando - both are well known artists in Los Cabos - Victor paints homes & house art in USA & Canada because people who have homes here send him to their home country to paint because they like his work so much - not a wall inside or outside that was painted with a brush or roller. Victor uses cloths, sponges, metal scrapers, razors, sandpaper, & other tools to make the look - every interior wall is unique & textured in different ways. For example front door wall is 5 layers of different colors of paint & then scraped & sanded to reveal different colors. The blue fireplace wall is called stucco for a 3D look. Dining room wall is textured & decorated with gold leaf. Main house off-white paint is textured. Ceiling beams were dark brown like outside beams but painted with 2 colors and then scraped to give it a driftwood appearance. All bedrooms, casita, bathrooms, etc are painted in a unique way. Fernando painted the mural in the hallway to give it a Mexican look. Outside walls sponged to give the house a weathered Hacienda look. Art painted on back patio walls with a 3D blue window painted by Fernando & Victor Hugo painted the map of Baja Peninsula & the western Mexican mainland. Victor added decorative flowers and stencil prints on back patio for an interesting Mexican feel. Pool - Custom built 6 years ago.
